In the Spring of 2011, we received a call from the CEO of 1-800PetMeds.  Their sales were falling and they needed new creative direction.  Their media budget was significant but their message was lacking.  In addition, they were faced with increased online plus brick and mortar competition.  We flew to Florida and presented new creative concepts that centered around ‘humanizing’ their company and creating an emotional connection with their existing and potential customers.  In the new television commercials, we featured a mom and her family, which her dogs and cat were an important emotional part of.  Within 3 weeks of the new commercials running their sales spiked 35% with sustaining growth for the following months.  We continue to update their ‘story’ with new creative and have had several successful campaigns in the past few years.

Casino Aztar was an established brand for 17 years. Our challenge was to generate growth and excitement for the new Tropicana name, while not confusing their existing loyal customer base.  Another specific challenge was to incorporate the numerous entertainment options the new Tropicana Evansville provides. We accomplished this across several media and creative platforms concentrating on specific regions of the Midwest. We established the new identity through a new logo treatment, tag line, music jingle, and high energy television and radio commercials.  The result was a smooth name transition, increased traffic and revenue, and a broader reach.

This is the best day ever!

When the Nationwide golf tournament came to the tri-state in 2012, the CVB, as well as a partnership between the EDC and the Chamber, purchased significant media sponsorship packages. They challenged us to generate a creative television campaign for each entity.

For the CVB, the goal was to increase overnight stays for families in a 60-150 mile range from Evansville.  We implemented a concentrated media and internet marketing campaign, and created several commercials highlighting entertainment and hospitality options we offer, as well as targeting specific events.  The result was an increase of nearly 9% in occupancy and over 11% in revenue.

For the EDC and Chamber, we created an award winning series of television spots designed to draw new business to the region.  We continue to work with each entity to further the message to potential new businesses.
